Weak species in rock-paper-scissors models

In this letter, we investigate the population dynamics in a May-Leonard formulation of rock-paper-scissors game which one or two species, shall refer to as "weak", have reduced predation reproduction probability. We show that nonspatial model stationary solution where all three species coexist is always unstable, while spatial stochastic coexistence possible for wide parameter space. find, probability results significantly higher abundance "weak" models with either long simulation lattices are sufficiently large prevail.
